Without a doubt,mine rank pomegranete #1. We can only get it in the fall though. Then I'd say the greys like grated sweet potato and grapes, the marroon belly conure likes apples and grapes, the Eclectus ANYTHING,and the Amazon ranks bing cherries as his all time favorite. They all love the occasional spaghetti and a salt free tortilla chip as a treat. The birds get more breakfast around here than the rest of the family!!!! They usually get a mix of 4-6 different items each morning. ...as the grey says "yum,yum,you guys hungry"!!......... michele

MY SCARLET HER ALL TIME FAROVITE IS GRAPES ANY KIND, MY GREY LOVES NOODLES AND HOT PEPPERS, MYCONURE IS ALL TIME FAROVITES ARE APPLES, GOFFIN FAROVITE IS BANANAS, I FEED ALL MY BIRDS FRESH VEGGIES AND FRUITS DAILY. THEY GET ABOUT 4 TO 6 DIFFERENT KINDS. THEY LOVE TO EAT NOODLES WITH VEGGIES IN THEM AND ALL KINDS OF DIFFERENT NUTS. MY FAMILY SAYS I FEED THE BIRDS BETTER THEN THEM (LOL.)

My birds are sheer gluttons(and I suppose GLUTENS!!) they eat anything and everything in sight and our vet says they're the healthiest he's seen(poor man, he can't have seen many!! LOL) They're main diet is Kaytee's Fiesta Gourmet Bird Mix and in addition they eat plenty of fresh vegetables and fruit daily, but they especially love cucumber, zucchini(courgettes to me!)carrots, apples, peaches, pears and pasta. For naughty nibbles they can't resist a rich tea biscuit(I only buy a packet for them-who am I kidding LOL) and any flavour chips(no wonder I'm overweight!!). My female cockatiel goes mad when she hears a packet being opened and will attack any guest who has got a biscuit until they give her a bit! But their favourite nibble in the whole world are Kellogg's cornflakes, they are brand conscious and won't eat any other. Has anyone seen the video Road to Wellville about the life of Dr Kellogg who invented the cornflake? It is very funny.

My sun conure and my quaker live for lima beans! They absoulutly love them! My Macaw loves green beans. My grey is sick and refuses to eat solid food...so he just throws everything across the room that I offer him. he will only eat softened money buiscits.

Amy, I never have even tried lima beans and have no idea why!! My birds like string beans and snow peas, but I have not given the lima beans a whirl yet. Do you give them fresh and whole, or frozen shelled.? We don't have the fresh in the markets here now. Also, what is wrong with your grey?? Hope he will soon be fine. How old is he? Thanks for your input on Gracies Conure question. It seems like the prettier the conures are, the louder their voices are!!LOL Talk soon..michele
